The first day of the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 finals was nothing short of a thriller and we now have a massive gallery available for viewing. In a day which will likely go down in CS:GO history for the amount of upsets it featured, the first day of the ESL ESEA Pro League finals saw the North American region open the day with a dramatic three wins to the European region's one win. In the end, after winners' and losers' matches were played out, two teams left the first day with an elimination and a $7,500 check: Luminosity and TSM. Four teams will play tomorrow in the quarter-finals, specifically EnVyUs vs. Cloud9 and fnatic vs. Keyd Stars. And finally, CLG and Virtus.pro have automatically moved forward to the semifinals on Saturday, giving both teams one day's rest. HLTV.org was on-site the entire time to capture the exhilaration, the angst, and the drama of the first day: The full gallery of day one of the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 finals can be found here. Be sure to check back tomorrow for day two's photos. |
